4JOBS - Subscript out of range
« on: April 16, 2015, 03:18:04 PM »
Hi,

I have installed the 4jobs system. My 4pos is running correctly, Domain Controller, Back office and 4pos scan, but when I open the 4jobs i get :

1. Subscript out of range - when I click on OK I get....
2. Unable to locate the '4POS Application Suite' database

I have 4POS installed as per normal.
It is a single PC that run the back office, domain controller, 4pos and 4jobs
OS is Win8 32 bit
All regional settings are correct
I have done the latest 4pos update

I have not done any 4Jobs upgrades - I cannot find any available (http://www.4pos.co.za/Software/4JOBSUpgrades.exe is not available)

I have gone through the whole 4jobs for clever dummies file and cannot find anything. I also searched the forum for any info but cannot find.

I have re-done the installation - also does not work

What else must I try ?

I have installed three different machines. All installations are new installations with all Service packs loaded. All regional settings were fixed and then installed 4pos, 4jobs and did the upgrades for 4pos as there are no upgrades for 4jobs.

Win XP - Same problem .... subscript out of range. only odbc connection is 4pos
Win 7 - Same problem .... subscript out of range. only odbc connection is 4pos
Win 8  - Same problem .... subscript out of range. only odbc connection is 4pos

What must I do to fix ?
