4POS has a number of users that uses the same feature to receive cash (Small coins) from typically hawkers before their purchase.
The purpose is obviously to alleviate the time consuming task of counting coins at the cashier.
The central cash management kiosk will receive the coins or cash on entering the business. A receipt (Credit) will be issued for the amount that was received.
The customer will then pick all products required & proceed to the cashier. The cashier can then ring up the items & also scan the credit receipt. Eg. Purchases R5,000, credit = R4,000.
Due amount is R1,000
