Hello,

I was running on version 18.1.4 I think and today when i tried to open Backoffice I received a message to upgrade to the latest version. I closed all 4POS apps and clicked to upgrade. When everything was done and I tried to open Backoffice again the same upgrade message popped up. I tried this several times and it did the same thing. I decided to download the manual upgrade on the site and now I can't access anything. When I try to lopen domain controller it says '4POS Domain Controller must be run on server' and when I try to open Backoffice it says 'Location not found'.

I have tried to restore the Backup by copying the files directly to 4POS Server from the external backup but nothing. I am now in a complete panic and would appreciate any help.

Notification :

4POS now requires licencing on all PC's linked to the 4POS system.

Unlicenced backoffice pc's are no longer supported.

This has become neccessary due to all development done on the backoffice re SQL, Stock Control functionality, APP's etc.

From version 18.6.4 all App's & backoffice will be licenced with a voucher code & no other method.

We are confident that all users will understand the necessity.

Wish to automate your 4POS Backups?

This FREE utility will make a backup of all your SQL files & you can schedule a time as well.

It will create bak files of your database which can be reloaded in an emergency - if you do not have a 4POS Backup.....

I upgraded the system as it was demonstrated in the video. i am getting problem when i go to "Utility tab" and click on "restore backup", it asks for authorization password. i don't know which password it is asking for?. while i didn't set any password for backups.

hi leanne

when i  go to history it does not show me the description of the item as when i scanned it anywhere on that page / statement. i find i have to manually enter the description a second time when actually completing the customer details ???
