Connect your internet & verify the licence from "Help" in the backoffice.

Why customers would not invest in a MTN dongle with some data in the year 2020 is beyond me.

I cant imagine doing business without internet! Even for a liquor store or any other business!

Good Evening. I moved the 4pos server to new Pc successfully and restored the backup. Everything works fine until you do a dayend. It states it is a demo version, although the company name appears on the back office, the license is verified and activated. I then connect to the internet, and then i can do a day end. The next day, same story. If i am not connected to the internet, it refuses to allow me to do a day-end as it states it is a demo. The client does not have internet ( yet ). Apart from having to connect every 30 days to verify, this is extremely frustrating. Any way to fix this please?

Now, for the 2nd part of the question - stopping the printer to make a noise...

This is obviously our 4POS 80mm printer ...

You can use the setup tool to disable the sound...

Hi

Attached is 2 pics to assist...

Simply set the printer to have "No Drawer attached"

This means the printer will not open the drawer, instead 4POS will open the drawer....

This will stop this "Double" opening of the drawer...

Question from a user :

Good Day!

I have over the weekend bought me the drawer that connects to the 4pos printer.
I have connected the drawer, but as soon as I process the order in 4postouch (Before I process the transaction) the drawer already pops open.
When I punch in the cash received to process the transaction it again pops open, so it pops open twice on one order transaction.
Can you please advise and help that it only pops open once we receive the customer till slip?

Also, how can I make the printer not make that beeping noise when it prints out?

Hi,
Apologies for posting in wrong sub. We communicated last night via mail and the person \ you? said it was a driver problem. I used the driver that came with the printer and selected the only driver available on the usb for the specific printer. I will download the driver mentioned here and give it a go today at the client.

That is our standard 4POS 58mm printer & not a barcode printer.

Please email us a pic of what is printing so we can determine if it is a driver issue.

Hi, i have downloaded the new driver and installed. But the 4POS printer prints the first part of the slip with big blank vertical stripes. IE the table text at start of slip looks like a fat Zebra. So the first part of the slip is illegible, then the items sold further down are clear. It looks like the printer is not heating up properly at init? I bought it yesterday from Makro, should i take it back or is it a paper / setting issue.? Printer purchased is the new 4POS 58MM THERMAL RECEIPT PRINTER. Blue button on left to open.
