For the customers battling with their 4POS printers :

A couple of things to check please:

1. Are you using Thermal paper? (Quick way to check is to scratch the paper with your nail – it should leave a black mark)
2. Also if the paper comes out but blank - your paper is upside down... The paper will feed from the bottom of the roll.
3. Does the paper feed when you press the feed button?
4. Is the lid properly closed? If not – Open the lid & press closed firmly – Don’t smash it….
5. Do a printer self-test : Switch the printer off. Hold the Feed button & switch the printer on while holding the feed button. Release the feed button – it should print a self-test. If this works – switch the printer off & try again from Windows.
6. Lastly – remember that Windows does not automatically detect the USB port you are using. Go into the printer properties & ensure the port is set to “Virtual printer port” – If there is more than one – try the others.

Worst case scenario – use our voice prompts on 010-500-4176 - option 1 (Support options).

Windows 10 - what have they done now???

Lots of issues with the Windows 10 upgrades that happened in the last couple of days!

1. Suddenly network cards dont work anymore
2. VGA drivers that make 4POS screens not display...
3. 80mm Printer drivers suddenly not recognised!

Well, at least we have a solution for the 58mm & 80mm Thermal printer now...

New driver for Windows 7, 8 & 10 uploaded.
