total Cash Management
« on: December 08, 2015, 06:27:56 PM »
a Report that keeps track of my "cash" (similar to stock- opening + receipts- payments = closing) will be a great advantage.  4pos knows what was received and taken from the till to "bank".  We have the payments to the creditors and payouts. Ok its not that simple you would need at least two accounts,  i.e  cash and bank,  and a way to process the other payments on your bank statement. Maybe payouts with an option if it is from cash or from bank. You would need similar option on your payment of creditors.

If this and creditors aging /due are shown on the sales dashboard (or second report with added info  depending on who you want to see the info) you will have a much better view of what is happening in the business.

It is just easier to manage a smaller business from one system than to wait for accountants to add every thing (usually long after the fact)

It sounds simple enough, but what you are explaining is a cashbook system.

We have decided to only focus on Point of sale & not get involved with accounting software.

It is difficult enough to train techs to do POS support than to get involved with debit orders, cashbook transactions etc...
