How can a stock administrator pull out Staff Meals & damaged stock items from 4pos stock holding. I have been using a GRV return but I wonder whether its appropriate. At some stage I had thought of linking Staff Meals and the damages to a second sales channel that I can define stock items at cost. The problem with that method is that Staff Meals Debtor becomes part of the customer's age analysis thereby distorting accounts. Can I have a clue on that.

Your ideas are fine, BUT you have to take in consideration that this will add to the turnover. So, the accountant HAS to write this off.
Another way, maybe better, is to do a "Stock addition" but with a negative - this will then become a "Stock subtraction" & you can then also enter a reason eg. Staff Meals or damaged stock...
