Title: Argox OS 214plus Label Printer

When I try to print labels with the Argox OS-214plus Label Printer which is set in Direct Thermal Mode 4POS seems to kick it into Thermal Transfer Mode. One gets a Check Ribbon Message. I have tried it with other Packages and printer works fine. It only seems to occur with the OS214plus. Anybody have any ideas.

I have worked on one or two, no problems on my side, I seem to remember having to change dip switches or having to reflash the rom to PPL-A

I have had a similar problem before with other models of Argox,which were resolved with DIP Switches etc, however in this case there are no DIP switches and the unit is already in PPLA mode. If I use the Non-Argox, i.e. the Epson, one can print labels, although not in proper format, but the Printer does not stop with the Lights alternately blinking. It would seem that there is a control code from the 4POS the printer does not like in 'ARGOX' Mode.
