Title: Fingerprint scanner on 4POS Touch

Is it possible to add an biometric fingerprint scanner in 4POS touch. What we want to do is add a scanner to a till that anyone can access and enable it so that they have to scan to do a transaction.

I believe it is possible but what fingerprint scanner recommendations are there, can any scanner work or should it have certain functions/features?

We only support the IDVERSOL fingerprint reader.

HI,

do you need a hardware device to load the finger print into the systems or can it be done on the touch screen?

As mentioned elsewhere on the forum - we support the IDVersol fingerprint reader & YES, you do need the drivers with the device. (This is normally included in your purchase)
