Title: Problem when printing to a Network printer
Post by: fred on August 08, 2012, 09:32:39 AM
I have this problem with at least 3 clients when they print to a Network printer, i.e. Printer connected directly to Network via IP address. This occurs with HP or kyocera. When an Invoice is Printed to this printer it first throws out a BLANK page with a small 'd' in the top left corner. The invoice is then printed correctly on the following page. However if one REPRINTS the Invoice this does not occur. The settings for LOGO etc are as they always were, OFF or not ticked.

I have tried re-installing printer drivers but with no change. All other programs, i.e. Excel, Word print normally without throwing out this extra page.

We tried to print with different settings. The only thing we could found is 4POSSCan sends "P" for  Guillotine to cut paper. Maybe your drivers sending D instead of "P" or something for this combination.

Please ensure that you have NOT selected the CUT paper parameter in 4POSSCAN.

Thank you, problem solved, the client who only uses A4 Laser for Invoices and Cash Sales had also selected his laser for the pos printer. When this was removed the EXTRA PAGE with the 'd' was gone.
