I would like to know if it is possilbe to store a current transaction, and continue with another transaction, and later retrieve the stored transaction and complete it? The reason for this is, during busy days, some customers pay with a card, and it takes about 2 minutes to complete the transacion, waiting for the card machine to finish. During this time, I can help someone else who is paying cash.
I would also like to know if it is possible for the POS to give a warning when something is scanned that is not on the system. At the moment, the cashier scans the products, and don't look at the screen, as long as he hears the beep sound of the scanner, he is happy that he scanned the product. Maybe if something is scanned that is not on the system, he must acknowledge it somehow, before he can continue scanning the rest of the products. The reason for this is the bacodes of products changes sometimes, eg cigarettes, and I can't afford to give the new barcode items away for free, when the cashier is not looking at the screen.

Storing of transactions is done by default as Shift-V (Please check your own keyboard layouts to confirm)
Retrieving the transaction is simply the reverse. Shift-V & select the transaction that has been stored.
