Hello All,

Just purchased the software and installed it on 3 of our machines. we are currently having issues getting the barcode scanner to work in 4POS. Windows does pick it up and register scanned barcodes. any assistance would be appreciated. so basically we cannot scan items into the Point of sale sales screen under F1

Please explain your problem properly.

Is the scanner not working?

Does it scan barcodes in notepad?

Is it not bringing up the product in 4POS Scan?

Have you disabled the barcode in the backoffice?

We can't KNOW what the problem is.

I thank you so much. Mr Tsungai managed to help me. It actually turned out that the scanner has some factory faults.

Having issues with usb scanner. Working fine in word, but when scanning in 4pos it scans directly to search in bottom left corner. Also doing F1 it scans code but does not display item.

Must be a setting we modified somewhere ... but where ?

Any assistance would be much appreciated

The barcode that you have created in the 4POSBackoffice is different from the barcode you are scanning in 4POSScan

OR.....

Most likely you disabled the barcode of the item in Backoffice?

How to turn off auto scan on the 4POS Scanner :

Press & HOLD the trigger for 15 seconds to turn the auto scan off.

Do the same to turn it back on...
