We have done hundreds of these installations & it works!
The most common mistake is that people forget to set the "Security".
You MUST click on security & Add a group "Everyone" with Full Control!
On some PC's we have found that you even need to do this on the 4POS & 4POSServer folder!
If you cannot open the "Server" pc from Windows explorer by typing in the address bar eg.
\\server\c\4posserver\
OR - it says you need to enter a password or anything else - 4POS cannot access the folder & therefore cant work!
Go into the network configuration of the pc you want to log in & ensure the setting are done correctly!
