Is it possible to have 2 POS Terminals next to each other sharing a printer with a cash drawer?
-
Yes you can, BUT!
By sharing cash drawers it means that 2 people have their hands in the till now. Who becomes responsible for the shortage?
I suggest you rather share the printer, but have 2 cash drawers. 1 drawer connected to the printer & on the other terminal, a cash drawer with a drawer kick on. (You could also use a serial drawer, but they tend to break easily)
Lastly, have you optimized your 4POSTouch to ensure it takes the minimum of keystrokes to ring up a sale? You might find that you don't need a 2nd terminal?
2nd Lastly....
Also, you might want to add 2 cash drawers on 1 terminal, so each barman can have his own drawer? It can be selected based on password. I log in to use drawer 1 - you log in to use drawer 2.
