Title: Discount
Post by: David on August 25, 2014, 08:17:16 AM
High all,

1. I am fairly new to this system ,How do I give a discount on a single item instead of making a global discount.
2. At the cash up process I always get my float level increased eg. it is supposed to be R500 and in the back office it is R500 but after a cash-up it is automatically increased to my end day total .

Press F9 then you can change the amount. Just ensure you do not give that permission to cashiers.

Although that will work - F9 is price override - not a discount!

The better way is to use the sales channels & set up different prices!
