How do you recover from a total system crash?
Let's say the PC was replaced with a new PC.
Do you just install 4POS then restore the last 4POSBACKUP ?
Or is it more complicated than that?
-
ITS SIMPLE AS YOU HAVE SAID. YOU RESTORE FROM YOU LAST BACKUP AND YOU WILL BE UP AND RUNNING. WITHOUT BACKUPS THEN YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW LICENSE

OK. So what should I backup to make sure I can recover 4POS?
which 4POS directories? Registry? files?
4POSBACKUP only backs up the databases? Is the license stored in the database somewhere?
-
Asked & answered.
The licence key is stored in the database, so when you backup, you are safeguarding your licence.
On a new pc, you will install 4POS & then restore the backup.
