Title: Changing quantity in new update 2016.10.10.1

Hi All

Does everyone know the method to change the quantity of an item in the POS. The quick keys say "j" but I cant seem to change the value. I have tried:

> j
> Shift + j
> Alt + j
> Alt + Ctrl + j

Not sure what the combo is, any help would be greatly appreciated.

It has not changed.

The default keyboard layout is 101 default & to change the qty, you will ring up the item then press the * button on the numerical keyboard above the 9.

It shows as j because it is shown as the ascii value...

Hi
I am evaluating 4POS using a laptop so don't have a numeric keypad.
If I press the shift key and * key, it doesn't allow me to change the quantity.
What key must I push?

As answered on email :

You need to change 4POS first to tell it you are using a laptop.

Store setup - setup POS - double click on server & select dell keyboard.

Then do update POS - option 3

Then you will be able to use Shift 8
