Yesterday I was registering a copy of 4pos for my friend after he had been testing it for a week. I started the
registration process by connecting to the internet then started 4PosBackOffice. I then filled in the registration
form then clicked 'Next' button. This is when the problem started. First the program (4pos) said that I should
check my internet connection, which I did by opening a browser and going to google.co.za.
I then got back to the registration screen and tried to click 'Next' again this time it managed to connect
because a minute later a pop up appeared noting that this copy has been registered and that I should check
my(friend's) email. Now the problem is that the program was stuck for some time on the initial registration
screen. I decided to reenter the details again to attempt registering the software again, a pop up appeared
again but this time it said that the registration code was invalid.
We then checked the email to verify and true enough there was a confirmation email with the cd key bolded.
I tried clicking the 'Existing User' button and it sent another email suggesting that we were transferring the
registration to another computer. Now when we get back to running the 4PosBackOffice program it says
that this copy is not registered. How can it be since we have the email confirming the registration?
A couple of points to clear up:
1. This copy has never been registered before on any other computer
2. I have made a copy of the database even though the registration never went through
3. We have the email confirming the registration
4. This is a legitimate copy purchased from a Makro store
Best Regards
Isaac
