Title: Can 4POS be used in a clothing / shoe store
Post by: Admin on November 18, 2017, 09:23:43 AM
Question from a customer :

"Can the system be used for a shoe store, where each shoe will show the individual size breakdowns, for eg: Caterpillar mens: 1/6 2/7 2/8, total qty 5.

And if a size is sold can the system automatically deduct the size and print out at end of day what sizes per item has been sold."

Remember that each item Eg Caterpillar mens Size 6 is just a product. No different from a can of beans. So, YES! 4POS will work perfectly!

What 4POS cannot do is what some systems calls a size matrix. In other words, specify 1 item description & the system will create the sizes automatically. Eg Caterpillar & the system will create 1 item for

Caterpillar mens Size 6
Caterpillar mens Size 7
Caterpillar mens Size 8 etc

In other words, in 4POS, you will need to create the items 1 by 1. Not a biggie we think as this only needs to be done once....

You could further use the Report Group for "Men's Shoes", The Pricing group for "Caterpillar" & stock groups for "Size 7 shoes". This will give you the advantage of counting all size 7 shoes on 1 stock sheet, manage your markups for Caterpillar shoes in 1 click & get reports for each group in detail or in summary!
