If you look at the transaction dates you will see the problem.The 3rd should be below the 2nd.

The creditor statement prints in the sequence in which the transactions were done! Nothing wrong with that!

Now in this case, the customer entered the GRV's for the 10th, then the 2nd, then the 5th......

So, based on 4POS, the cost of the items is now shown as the cost of the 5th! Totally wrong! Furthermore, the profit reported for the period is also wrong as the profit is calculated based on the cost at THE TIME OF THE SALE!

So, the question from the customer is... why does it matter or in his/her words - in a perfect world....

Well, we try to write a PERFECT system, for customers to use perfectly! When we start dropping our standards in business about costs & retail prices, we might as well give up now & join the queue at the local robot....  6 kids to feed, no food, etc!

Let;s try to do better in all our businesses! After all it DOES matter!

So the answer is that the customer must enter the GRV'S in the correct date order?
