recipt print issues

I have reinstall the 4pos system on a new pc and changed from win xp to 7 32 bit.
I have the gsan 58mm printer.
drivers from the cd.
when I used it as is the recipt was cut off on the right side and you could not see the numbers.
I change it to use graphics in the 4pos and in the printer to print as soft font instead of image.
it now prints in the size I want however the total, vat and change fields are completely empty.
not even a 0.00 it just say
total:
vat:
change:
and that is it.
if I change it back by removing the use graphics it prints the details, but cuts the numbers.
what am I doing wrong?
there is no settings I can find in the 4pos and the backoffice for the total and change.
please help.

Nothing you are doing wrong.

You need to ensure you use the proper driver though.

In 4POS - ensure you have selected "Print Graphics", your font is set to Arial & the font size is 8.00
