Stock movement error
« on: September 25, 2015, 03:20:59 PM »
I have 2 queries:
Summary:
We found that the stock movement report, showed 27patties sold on one transaction, which were in fact only 9 patties.  Seems like the system incorrectly multiplied the sale by 3, but was still sold at the correct price, the product performance report reflected the sale correctly.  What could have caused the stock movement to multiply the item? (Which have messed up the stock on hand)
When we started to investigate we tried to simulate the transaction.  However we found the following problems as well.
•    The stock movement does not reverse my item (patties) after I have reversed it from the point of sale.  However we did this twice, once it did reverse successfully, the other time it did not.  The stock movement report still shows 6 patties.  How do I correct this?
•   The product performance however reflects correctly that no patties were sold after we have reversed these items, there for… if we do another reversal to correct the stock movement report, it will affect my product performance report.

1st question - are you running the latest 4POS version?

Over the last year we have made many changes to the Bill-of-Material updates to fix any & all combinations.

Important to note that when you sell or reverse an item in sales, the 4POSDomain controller does the stock update. Also, you would need to load the report data. All reports including stock movement detail info lies in the reportxx.mdb file after uploading.

Be careful of nut just doing a reverse & then printing the same report without reloading the report data.
