4POS creates the file 4CUSTA.PRN that can be automatically sent to the scale.
All scales (Eg. Bizerba, Teraoka etc) have their own communication software that will update this file automatically to the scales. The location of this file by default is c:\4posserver & can be changed.
To change this destination, use Microsoft Access to open c:\4posserver\pricing.mdb & locate the table called "Scale". Simply change the folder you wish to use. (Eg. c:\tsa-gen)
Ps. Do not allow the scale or 4POS Techies to BS you that it cannot be done automatically! They are just too lazy to do it properly!
