A Kitchen monitor is a complete PC networked & licenced on 4POS.
Advantages :
1. As the item is sold, it is immediately shown on the kitchen monitor as part of the order. The chef can start cooking faster!
2. All items on the order is shown as 1 order box.
3. Multiple orders from multiple machines can be shown at the same time & sorted by date/ time created.
4. 12 orders per screen.
5. Once completed, orders are "bumped" off by pressing the order number on a keyboard.
A kitchen printer only prints the order when all items has been rung up & the customer is paying for the items.So cheaper, but slower!
