Receipt Currency
« on: July 19, 2012, 01:10:28 PM »
Hi, I had to reinstall my printers and everything after a harddrive crash and now my receipts are printing in $, how do I change it back to R?
I'm using the touch POS.

Thanks!

Also, I've now realised it's also not printing the total. It just says 0.00.
Also not printing the number of guests at the table and printing veeeery slowly where it used to print super fast (could it be that a different driver as to the previous one is causing this or can I change the settings somewhere?)

Ok, figured out the print speed...now just the currency (I did change it to R in back office) but still printing in $.
Also still not printing total or number of guests.

The default currency showing on the slips is depicted by the Regional settings of your pc. Go into the control panel to change it. For South Africa - select English SA to get the R to print.

Somewhere else someone asked the same question for Zambia. Change the Currency symbol in the control palen to Kw NOT K as K on it's own is a reserved statement in VB6 which will cause problems.

Also for Zambia - make sure you use - "Use large quantities" in the configuration screen......
