Nice idea but not practical as the stock is stored by dayend. In other words, you can go back into your 4POS system & view the stock for a specific day (Dayend) or for a period from dayend to dayend.
So, if we had to allow sales by date & not dayend - you could get INVALID figures! Also remember that we have thousands of customers trading over 24 hour periods & the dayend is a logical cut-off for that day. The same applies to restaurants that trade after 12 at night.
