It doesn’t make sense. When they say it stops responding - does the machine hang? – When they press Num lock – does it go on & off? If not, it could be the actual machine.
I had a customer in December that complained about the same scenario & on investigation we found that it was their Epson monitoring software that popped up. This program will then have “Focus” & whatever you scan in 4POS is ignored due to the fact that the 4POSScan window is not active.
On removing this software – the problem was resolved!
