Combining of systems
« on: September 18, 2013, 10:43:18 AM »
Hi Team

We have just merged our Home Industry and Coffee shops into one physical shop. We were running independent systems and would like to integrate into one, which from a face value is easy to do and we are comfortable to do this, however, we do have a question and cannot seem to solve it and also are not too sure if it can be done.

Often our clients are having a meal and all of their orders have been loaded onto the Touch, they then decide to purchase a home industry item and would like that added to their table for billing. We can obviously add the sale through on the normal 4POS Scan system but cannot allocate that to a table, or am I wrong. Touch does not seem to have the ability to do a stock search, as you would with 4POS scan using F1, is there any way around this or will we need to issue the client with two receipts, one for the meals and the other for the Home Industry?

It would just make our lives a little easier.

4POSTouch allows for scanning as well. As long as you can scan the item or enter the code, you can sell it from the touch.
