database export

hi, I have one shop running 4pos, so I have opened another branch which will be selling the same items with the old shop. I don't have time to recreate the database from scratch, I want know if there is a way to extract only the items from the old shop and import to the new shop.

Hello,
Try exporting your existing database and save as a CSV file then do import database from your new branch

The correct ways would be to purchase a licence or licences for the new store, do a backup, & restore on the new store.

Then contact us to help with the name change & re-licencing.

For all users : If you have multiple branches running with the same 4POS licences.....

Over the next couple of months - ALL 4POSUpgrades will be done via the internet & licences will be checked for validity.

If you have the same licences across multiple branches, the first branch will be able to upgrade & no others - ever again!
