Cashup issue

After the cashier (pos) has done cash up and post (f12), backoffice does not recognize it and accumulates closing till balances as a outage amount BUT when updating and amending prices both systems respond positively, what could be the problem?

This is an email from a customer.

Answer :

It does happen on some systems that the backoffice does not pick up that a cashup has been done in the 4POS scanning / 4POS Touch program. The dayend will keep saying that a cashup has not been done on .... (POS Name)

If all else fails - in other words, you have checked that the 4POSDomainController is running, this is not a network issue or this is on the main or only pc, it may mean that the POS declaration numbers in out of sync & has to be fixed.

Run c:\4pos\4posmaintenance.exe & select "Fix POS Declaration links"

Do the cashup again & then a dayend.
