Hello

How is it possible to restrict debtors (customers) to be only accessed by a single employee in the Back Office?

I am wandering how to restrict the access otherwise any employee can charge a bill to the incorrect customer.

Hi
 On Backoffice permissions untick (DEBTORS ADMINISTRATOR & DEBTORS FINANCIALS) on the employees that you don't them to access debtors.

Yes you can.

Under Maintain employee details - Point of Sale permissions, the option for "Work with accounts" does this.

I found these tick boxes and tested them however, they are not able to limit a single employee to one debtor. From my understanding, they prevent un-authorised employees from accessing all of the debtors. Although, an employee with clearance can still access all the debtors. I am trying for example:

Employees

Jill, Tom and Sifiso

Debtors

Spar, Checkers and Woolworths

I would like to set up the access, where Jill can only access Spar, Tom can only access Woolworths and Sifiso can only access Woolworths through the POS.

In addition, I have been looking through all the tick boxes and material under Maintain Employee Details to further identify a possible solution. The "work with accounts"clearance can be implemented via a password or fingerprint scan. However, the fingerprint scanning feature doesn't appear enabled. I have an active fingerprint reader, version 2016.10.10.1 and registered fingerprint scans.

You cannot link a cashier to specific debtors.
